Tp put yourself inside of the box, you can use layers and masks, just as you would do in photoshop.

It would be very helpful if you could just mention which drives are not recognized by DVDA…

Depending on what you want I have some suggestions:

You can have one emitter giving you particles that show either one of the words fulltime by setting the speed to OFF and check the RANDOM START FRAME

Or you can make one emitter, place it three times on the stage and simply replace the particle in each emitter with the word you like to have (instead of importing a multiframe particle).

You can have your emitter start at a negative frame by adjusting the FRAMES TO PRELOAD value in the EMITTER PROPERTIES tab page.

Motion blur is activated with Ctrl B. You can make adjustments to the motion blur in the Project Settings window (Alt P).

I have the same problem: Export from PI as PNG gives a file with transparancy in Vegas 8 pro. But export from PI to avi with the lagarith codec (yes, I used the RGBA setting plus the SAVE ALPHA option) still gives a black background in Vegas without transparancy.
So it appears I´m still doing something wrong. But what?
(PI version 3.0.4.1 and Vegas 8 Pro 8.0b).

I think you mean the option to force Vegas to rersample an event. Right click on the event and choose for SWITCHES-FORCE RESAMPLE

Yes indeed, if you open 2 vegas projects at the same time, you can copy events from one project to the other. This is the normal way for Vegas users.
Douglas also mentioned the Render to New Track option. I use that one very very often, specifically for short pieces on the timeline with a lot of ‘effects’. It compromises all your tracks on the selected region to 1 new track. So your preview is enormously enhanced in that way. And at the same time all your original stuff is still present in the project. So it is easy to change anything and repeat the Render to New Track.
There is no need to use the uncompressed avi for the Render to New Track if you render your final project to DV-avi. The pieces that you rendered already to the new track will just be copied without loss, but saving you the time of re-rendering.
