Yep, I’ve recently had problems with audio sync but its not the camera’s fault. I digitise using Adobe’s HDV1080 50i (PAL) with PP2 and had no problem until I started to edit in PP2. The audio would fall out of sync over time and only happen in the PP2 interface all other apps had no problem with playback.

I posted on Adobe and there looks to be a problem with the MPEG’s GOP when capturing over break points in the tape but only with PP2. I used HDV Split to get the file back in shape and it seems to work fine now in PP2.

Other than that I’ve not worked out how to export to tape from PP2 to my HDR-HC3.

    Hey Warren,

I seem to have the same problem with my PAL Adobe HDV 1080 50i preset. I am able to capture from my HDV camera OK and when viewed in media player the files are OK but in Premiere the audio falls out of sync over time. This is a new problem for me and it only happend when I formatted my computer and re-installed it all. I’ve been manualy cropping the audio to re sync it but I have a large project that I’ve been working on for a few months and I dont want to have to do it to the entire project.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks,

    Steve
