    Hi folks,

Does anyone use a Sony HDR-HC3 with Premiere Pro 2?, and if so are there any problems with device control and streaming the footage onto the pc?

    Thanks
    Shawn

I tried it a few weeks ago and there were no problems. Is there anything specific you are looking for?

Yep, I’ve recently had problems with audio sync but its not the camera’s fault. I digitise using Adobe’s HDV1080 50i (PAL) with PP2 and had no problem until I started to edit in PP2. The audio would fall out of sync over time and only happen in the PP2 interface all other apps had no problem with playback.

I posted on Adobe and there looks to be a problem with the MPEG’s GOP when capturing over break points in the tape but only with PP2. I used HDV Split to get the file back in shape and it seems to work fine now in PP2.

Other than that I’ve not worked out how to export to tape from PP2 to my HDR-HC3.
