FWIW– with the Magic Mouse while mouse pointer is in the timeline window a one finger swipe will scrub the timeline, two fingers jumps to the next edit point. If the pointer is in the Canvas one finger scrubs the playhead and two jumps to edits. And in the viewer one finger scrubs the viewer playhead and two fingers jumps to edit points in the timeline and opens the clip in the viewer.

I just went through this little exercise myself. Two attempts at uninstall – reinstall, long phone call to India, three or four attempts at the Flexnet fixer. What worked for me was delete the Flexnet Publisher folder in /library/preferences and empty the trash. PS CS3 started right up after that.

Decimal Counter from Industrial Revolution does this very nicely, its part of FXFactory.

Yes, apply the filter to a clip set to vertical and in the effects menu Set to Favourite, or optionF. Then apply it from the favourites bin. The settings stick.

here is a link to a podcast that shows how to do it VERY easily in Motion 4.

Motion can be intimidating, but this is so easy it hurts.
best luck

Works great for me. Try this flashing tool

the ROM files are on the same page. I’ve seen one report of success with the 4890.

Aperture 3 is able to import video assets (44 pro res clips in about 2 seconds). You can customize the metadata fields to include anything you want. You can view your clips, drop them into a “slide” show, export to a variety of formats (iPhone to 1080p). It’s worth a look.
