    No,
but what do you plan to do? Place your camera or deck into ff and capture? Assuming a tape based unit, of course.

Your link does not take me to a montage but to a site with a site that you have to register to view (not a great idea) and to a video tat is not a montage.

Again, is your preview setting and render setting AT least good or best not preview or lower?

[clark johnson] “would it possibly be better if i captured the video straight from the camera? would there be a speed up possibility there?”

Duh, it would already be captured if you captured it the same time as acquisition. You would then skip the normal capture from tape step. If you use a camera that is not tape based (a harddrive or a card) then capture is much quicker.

Is the picture and/or text in motion or static?

Is it blurry in the preview window. What is your setting? Make it good and you should see an improvement. Even when it looks blurry in preview lower settings it will render out clear. That said the titler has always been a sore point but they should not be blurry. Some people recomend setting title resolution at 1480 x 960.

I played with the second footage a little. Do you like this a little better. Used Color corrector, secondary color corrector and color levels. I’ll give you the .veg if this looks like something you want.

Place two copies of yor video one track over the other. IE track 1 and track2. Slightly darken track 1 then use cookie cutter to ‘cut out’ the shape and size that you want so that that section of track 2 shows through. You can keyframe the effect to move with the player (unless he’s an offensive lineman :>)
