I was kinda surprised by this too. I made a cut where I only used the footage provided.

MXF OP1a is a pretty strict codec. Pretty much the only setting you can change is whether the file is interlaced or progressive. You don’t need to bother with anything else.

The Quicktime pro codecs are available on Mac only.

No.

You don’t change the bitrate. DVCPRO50 is pretty tightly specced format that doesn’t have much settings for the user.
You have a couple of options:
-Go to a colleague/friend/whatever that has a Mac.
-Pay a post production company to do it.
-Try some free tool that uses FFMBC codecs. -
Could it be that your clip isn’t actually 59.94p?

How much do you want to pay for one? The Blackmagic cameras are pretty affordable.

Most of it is also pretty much irrelevant when it comes to video production which is probably why it is not shown.

Is this accurate?”You have to use a Blackmagic I/O if you want to monitor your image. For what is mainly a grading software that’s pretty critical.
