Could you post your computer specs so we might take a guess on how it runs?

I don’t know what Resolve does to sequences that have an indeterminate frame rate. You might want to try and set your project settings first and then import your sequences. You can change the frame rate and other stuff in the clip attributes menu.

There is a shot match feature but it doesn’t work in that way. Page 708 in the latest Resolve 14 manual.

It ain’t the answer you want but it doesn’t make it wrong.

What are you expecting to happen? You can bring in stills and use them as reference to try and match grades. There’s no drag and drop automagic mystery grade feature. You can get a grade from a saved still but that file needs to be exported from Resolve with the node structure used to make the particular grade.

The grade is happening after whatever you do in the Fusion page. Check the order of operations in the manual.

The standalone Fusion 9 Studio can export Prores as well and it’s pretty affordable.

I would actually recommend learning a bit of Fusion. It’ll make projects where you need keying etc. a bit simpler because you have actual comp tools to do it instead of using the color page secondaries for that.
