“Not at the moment and probably not in the future. It’s Reslightsion not separate pieces. Also the standalone Fusion still feels like a different thing compared to the page version. There’s probably not even render farm support for that, though I’ll have to check that. I probably wouldn’t start building hardcore comps in Resolve, but I probably will use that to do small fx stuff.

Already did on my home computer. Probably won’t do that on my work computer until it’s out of beta. I managed to find a repeatable crash with a certain tool in the new Fusion page.

New versions will overwrite the old ones and also update the database. And this is a beta so if you upgrade you’ll probably want to backup your database and/or your projects.

Unless one is shooting anamorphic or HDV all modern formats use square pixels so messing with the PARs doesn’t get you anywhere.

You’re confusing aspect ratio with pixel aspect ratio. If you want a cropped and pillar boxed 4:3 image in a UHD sequence you crop it to 2880×2160. You don’t squeeze it with changing the pixel aspect ratio.

No. The line is a reference and not a rule. Also the line is actually a legacy thing when vectorscopes had an in phase-line for NTSC signals.
