The Nvidia control panel settings are for display only do not affect any exports. Also all of those formats store data in video levels that are then scaled to data levels when they are shown on a television or a monitor.

I’ve never heard anything like this.

Yes. Because then you’re working with a standard that can be replicated. If you make some display neutral in some setting then there’s no saying what happens when you’re viewing that file anywhere else say a post house or a theatre.
You will need:
-A Blackmagic I/O device/card to get your image from Resolve to an:
-External reference monitor. You don’t need a 30 thousand euro one but one that’s somewhat nice quality and specwise. Do not use the GUI monitor or ICC profiles in this. Your operating system and your GPU settings can affect what you’re seeing in the GUI monitor. A proper projector (and the space for it) can get pretty gosh darn expensive.
-A probe. The Xrite i1 display pro is affordable and good enough.
-A calibration software. I use Lightillusion’s Lightspace. There’s also Calman and as a free option that I haven’t used there’s Displaycal.There’s all kinds of information on the Lightillusion site: https://www.lightillusion.com/tech_info.html

Thunderbolt supports video signals but it is for output only. The “doohickie box” aka. the I/O device (in the video you posted they’re only input devices) can take the signal from the the camera and change it into to an input format streaming programs can use.

If you’re exporting H264 then there’s usually a small wait after for the muxing to complete.

I don’t have the particular files that you have but I can’t see the same issue. The files that are behaving strangely seem to be in a sequence. Do you have any effects on the sequence clips or do you have adjustment layers with effects on them?

You can import Photo JPEG files in the latest one.

The file is using an Apple specific pro codec that is not found in Premiere. The latest Premiere only has support for their own encoder/decoder for Quicktime and it will not read any installed external codecs.
Is there a reason you can’t use the camera originals in Premiere?
