So… Have you tried Premiere with a decent GPU? I stacked 15 layers of full HD video with effects and it ran in realtime. You can also tweak the effects in realtime.

The thm do nothing. Have you tried importing through the Media Browser? Also what 1D do you have? 1DX, 1D mk IV?

Also if you need to import a lot of R3D stuff another way is to search the folder with your operating systems search function for *001.r3d files and import those. The media browser just shows what clips it actually finds without seeing the metadata files etc.

It SHOULD make a default sequence for you if it can’t find the settings for it. You could try changing your sequence settings to Prores etc before making the XML.

I’ve gotten good results if I set the keyframes to the framerate and turn on optimize stills.

Also your sequence is 4K, you might get a better result (and longer render time) by turning on maximum render quality.
