Cool that you got it working. You should play around with the basic expressions. They can be pretty powerful tools.

That is because MPEG2 is not specced for that. The max resolution seems to be 1920×1088. You can try and make some weird resolutions with whatever software but there’s a chance that it won’t work as it’s supposed to. The codec specs are there for a reason.

Well it seems that FCP let’s you do a non-standard ie. wrong file and Premiere let’s the codec do it the way that the codec is specified to.
