thanks, im aware of boris’s title 3d, but it hasnt really impressed me too much. id like to be able to use the basic text for simple things like a slate and whatever else.

nope, not anywhere else, i checked the scratch disk too and it was set right. also tried reconnecting the clip and searching for it, but nothing. its really strange, ive never seen a problem like it, only problems during capture resulting in abortion

i dont think its a problem with not having enough timecode, and it doesnt abort at all, it finishes and i click ok. btw i have a blackmagic extreme decklink

im not so much talking about the forum section as i am the tutorial section.
obviously this site is wonderful for getting quick advice on how to go about creating something “YOUR” designing, but by simply just taking a tutorial project that someone else has created to help you learn, and using it as if its your own design. thats just plain fraud, especially on your resume tape. i guess my motive in this post. is to educate new users that there is at least one person in every media “outlet” across this entire nation who is not only on creative cow, but will also recognize any tutorial from creative cow. and simply changing one element around does not constitute it as your work. nor does it give you access to use it. yes, its great that they can follow a tutorial, step for step. i know how to read as well. but remember, “A Steer Can Try” -
yes the sequence is set to render in 8bit YUV. my only question is, if this is the reason then why does this “level fade” or whatever only happen on my external monitors and not my cinema display?

yes, i have the latest drivers, and FCP is handling the effects. ahh its really startting to bother me

what should it be set too, FCP or BMD? im not sure what its set too since im not at the office, but i know i have safe RT set.
