Thanks, I didn’t think I would but I just wanted a little reasurance. Most of my inprogress files are not that big of a deal anyway. What I hate most is reinstalling the plugins and having to deal with activations again.

You made your point. Its like taking castor oil though.
I have gone through many of the steps listed. The first step was to remove all beta Premiere software. I have CS3. I don’t think I have any beta stuff on my computer.
I also contacted Adobe Support in the hopes that they might know what the problem is.

I do appreciate all your help and suggestions.

Eddie, it might just be easier to uninstall Premiere and start over but then I would still not know what caused me to lose the waveforms.

Tim, the audio levels are plenty high enough. They should be showing a waveform. I also scaled the time line to single frame and everything in between.
As far as the Media Cache files, I didn’t see a .pek file but under Preferences I clicked on “Clean”. It didn’t seem to help either. I’ll try restarting the program again and see if that helps.

Eddie, thanks but none of those options changed anything. Its not just this project, I noticed that I didn’t have a soundtrack waveform on my past few projects. Its a real pain not having it.

Thanks to Serge, I now have a very nice looking hockey puck with a logo on it and nurled edges.

Serge, thank you for the files. I am trying to work with them. I resized it to look like a puck but am having trouble getting the textures in the correct sides. The logo wants to wrap around the face and sides too. The knurling is good but so far I haven’t been able to get it where it belongs. You certainly are very fast and I really appreciate your help.

I can’t help but wonder. On page 491 of the manual (User Guide 4.0) it talks about making basic shapes inside ProAnimator and puting a radius on it. “Rounded Edge Cube” for example.

It imported good and looks almost perfect in edit mode but when I render a frame the inside of the wheel and some letters fill up with garbage and looks bad.

Here is the way it imports into ProAnimator. Compression is turned off during save in AI.

On page 491 of the manual it says to apply the bevel in the “Edge Style List”. With a primitive object there is no such option! I typed in a couple of letters and sure enough, the Edge Style List appeared for that.
