I just went to the update section and I’m not sure if I need one or not. I am currently running CS3 version 3.2. There is an update labeled 3.2 does that mean that I already have the latest?

Tim, that’s encouraging. I haven’t downloaded any updates. I didn’t realize there were any so I’ll give that a try, thanks. BTW, I’m running XP.

Quite frankly, I’m very surprized that it wasn’t just some setting that I was missing. To me, its like buying that Astra without getting any seats installed. In other words, THAT’S A BIG OVERSIGHT. And now with CS4 out there will not be any fixes on CS3.

    Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.13

When I noticed that some videos were not playing I tried updating everything I could think of so I am at a loss to figure this out.

Abraham, thank you for your response but its still not working. I went to Apple for the latest Quicktime download and downloaded it but during installation it only offered two choices.
    1, fix
    2, uninstall

I chose fix and it ran ok but when I tried to play the Invisible Effects video it wouldn’t play. Instead, I get the yellow triangle with the exclamation point in the lower left of my window. It also say, “error on the page”.

I have Quicktime 7.5.5 installed and other Quicktime files play, but not all.

    I don’t get it.

Richard, thank you for that tip. It does work but I had trouble trying to get it balanced correctly. I mean by that, the text make a complete circle and starting and ending the way I want.
I use Photoshop Elements for most of my printing needs like DVD cases because it is fairly simple to use and handles text pretty well. With your suggestion, I had to use Photoshop CS3 which I must admit, I am very new to. I need to get into the manual more but the box of manuals is just so overwhelming
    .
Actually, I hope that I am still missing something for adjusting the circle text.

    Thank you, Ted.

I see that I mispelled text in the title. Too late now. Maybe to clarify a little. I want text to form a circle and go in a 360 degree arc and not just 180 degree.

I’ll try that Joe. It just crashed again, this time I had made a minor change in a fourth level menu that I was working on and tried to preview from the menu. It never even got to the clips. It appears to me so far, that changing something in a menu can cause the crash. I only say that because that has been the trigger. At least that’s what it seems like.

Ok, looks like it has something to do with the menus. When I deleted all the menus and then played in preview Encore did not crash. Now I have to figure out what I did wrong in making the main menu to cause the crash.
