When in 480i/30p should I have the hvx200 in film mode or leave it in video mode?

ok…so set-up stays @ DV-NTSC for the capturing of 480i/30p footy? ok….. But if I use the 480i/24p or 480i/24pa and say I do the footy in 16:9….which set up is for that? Is there a good walk through for the workflow and break down of this? ….. this is new to me….Thanks…ONE

NAh… I check all that b4 I tape becasue someone @ my job could change stuff. I don’t think it was shot like that. Non of the other stuff shot was off. It is weird…thanks

Its a talking head interview and and I have graphics in the lower 3rd. style. There is a logo next to his name. It is a circle next with the companies initials in it. The top of the circle is lined up with the top of his name…. when I compress , the logo shifts upward! I just shifted it down on the timeline and I’m compressing another one now. Hope it works..,…… Thanks

That is what I was thinking about….but will be hard to do right now. The reason for the re-install was I was having problems with the internet connection @ work. I’m drop packets like crazy on pings. So I can’t get up dates right now. But we are going to call tech so we can take it to our apple cert. shop here. Thanks Mr. Roth

Noah….What is a good pro. monitor? One that is HD but can play SD. I got hired here and I’m still building the video section. Thanks for your help.

the trainin vid was sayin what u said but I had the transparent on not the color on the canvas. So it had no alpha to take out. So I set it bak to color and it worked. I think him explaining made me put it back to color!Thanks!!!!!

Not sure I was watchin a trainin vid on motion 2 and tried it all over and it worked.
