Installing version 6.0 changed a tiny little setting inside the capture settings:

Before deinstalling und reinstalling the 6.0 software I took a closer look at the Audio/Videosettings of my Easy Setups. Under the tab “capture” there are the Quicktime video and audiosettings. There is a button in the lower right corner of the Quicktimevideosettings called “advanced” or “more” or “options” (I have the german version). In the following window is the tab “videoinput”. Here the size of the incoming videosignal was changed from 625i25 to 720p50 in all my Easy Setups.

    Thank you for your help!

Thank you Jeremy, I can exclude this but maybe you are right concerning the setup.
After installing version 6.0 I restored my FCP prefs with FCP Rescue 6. So I used exactly the same easy setups as before. I tried my Pal DVCPro50 setup and also tried capturing with a ProRes-setup. None of them worked. But maybe here’s the culprit.
From the release notes (I eventually read):
Also, please note that Easy Setups from earlier versions may not work properly in Final Cut
    Studio 2 (FCP 6).

Hm, I’ll have to check this on monday. I will deinstall the driver, reinstall it and this time I will use the new FCP prefs.
I will make a easy setup from scratch.

So far, thank you very much for your help folks!

    Aah, thank you Jeremy

I’ll have to check that. I didn’t upgrade the firmware.

It wasn’t mentioned in the “read me first” text which came with the version 6 I think.

    Thank you,

Now here’s a question: Does anyone know why the hell this happens??

    Hi Thomas!
FortunateIy I can remember the shooting, so in my case the file went corrupt because we changed the battery on our panasonic AJ-HPX2100E and I forgot to stop the camera BEFORE changing the battery. It was exactly this clip which was unusable.

    Hi Andy,
    thanks for your posting!
In the end I did exactly what you did: I took the camera and deleted the clip there. Repairing wasn’t an option on this clip.
Fortunately the stuff was still on the cards in the camera. Next time I will check the clips in the camera before I copy the cards content to disk.

    Thank you for your input!
Multiuser Pro looks promising. I wonder what the final release will cost.
