Wow – Thanks for the quick reply — it seems promising even though I couldn’t fix the problem. Maybe I need to find the right combination.
One mistake I made was not to let you know the solution when using quick time pro. Maybe there is something the same in Vegas Pro
Here is the fix using Quick Time Pro
Under the “Visual Settings” I use the Transparency drop down and select Blend from the drop down. I set the transparency level to 100%
Next I select “Straight Alpha” from the same drop down.
That’s how you fix the gamma shift in quick time pro. Not sure if there is something similar in Vegas Pro or not.
