Great and the the kona three can cross convert as long as everything is the same frame rate correct? If the frame rate is different is there anything I can do?

What is the best way to get everything into one codec before editing?

Ideally planning everything before shooting and only shoot in DVCPro 720p, but if they have already shot different formats and P2 footage and a bunch of lipstick cameras capturing QTs would I use compressor before importing?

It sounds like we will not be editing uncompressed, we will be working with the apple pro res codec.

Our editors will not be capturing / laying off at home, all of that will be done at the office.

Mix and color correction will be done at a post house.

I am experiencing a 2 or 3 frame offset when I capture dvcpro tapes shot at 720p24 using a Panasonic HD1200A deck. Is there a way I can set an offset at the time of ingest, that way I have perfect sync throughout the edit process. I have tried the following two potential solutions to no avail…

Adding the Panasonic DVX-100 Audi Sync ‘extra’ did not solve the sync issue, which I suspected since I wasn’t using DV.

And it appears that adjusting the frame offset under the playback control in the system settings only helps by moving the audio forward ahead, which does not help because the audio is already ahead by two about two frames.
