Yes. In other words, either the original camera angle was wider than your AE camera angle, and/or the original camera was higher and tilted down more than your AE camera.

Thanks, Eric. That sounds easy, and I know how to make the 1 sec black with an end jump, but I don’t know how to place a track in the number 1 position. I see no indication in the authoring environment of where those positions are, or where I could place a track to make it number 1.
Sure, I see the track in the graphical view, but I see no indication of its “number 1” status in the authoring environment. Where should I look?
Just a little more help, and I’ll be out of your hair. 🙂

You might need Flip4Mac. Or you could make an Animation-compressed movie, then use QT Pro to Export to Windows Media.

Try this and tell us what happens:
1. Render the bad comp.
2. Render a good comp.
3. Open and play both movies in Quicktime Player.
4. Tell us: which plays audio? Which shows the little audio bars at the bottom right corner? What does the QT info show for the tracks for each movie? -

I think you need to upgrade to the full (non-AE) Mocha app to do the masking …?
