ok, That built in one has limited functionality. If you do a lot
of stabilization on footages, then the Mercalli plugin is the best
option, and even better now as version 4 is now available, though
the Vegas built in one is a stripped down Mercalli integration.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

There is also a Mask feature there you can use, for further precision!

Your nested files are what is causing Vegas to keep freezing, when its on
the timeline in a project.
I no longer work with Nested Vegas files anymore because of this happening
sometimes. So what you do John is simply render out your individual nested
files that are included in a project and let them retain the original names, then load your project with those new rendered files instead…. You will

Best you contact the creator of that suite of Vegas plugins to make such
an adjustment to that script.

But you haven’t mentioned what codec you rendered the final output in!
The codec is the single most important issue where rendering to a smaller
