Yeah…Simply use the secondary color corrector to do
your color changes. Below i placed a quick tutorial by
Douglas you can easily follow,& apply the same
principle with whatever alpha channel media you are working with:

What format have you rendered that video in?
And if its in a particular HD format, maybe your computer isn’t
powerful enough for real time playback of HD Media

As was pointed out, FLV files cannot be opened in Vegas.
But for those AVI files, where do you get them from?

Lol…Boy Rick, the only thing i could recommend to you at this point
is an upgrade, cause im sure you already tried everything else.

On a personal note, i settled down on using only Vegas 9.0e
(the stablest version to me) and had no intention of
upgrading to another version anytime soon…Until i got some
footage from a client (using a new brand of camera) that i could
not let pass me by, and Vegas 9.0e could not handle it. I then
had to upgrade to Vegas 10 and everything went smooth sailing
after that……My two cents.

Try: Right click in the preview window and make sure that
adjust size and quality for optimal playback is not selected.
