I think you probably gonna have to upgrade to a latest version
of Vegas, which should handle all that you are now doing just fine
and without errors.

Theo….The version that is available for Vegas is version 1.2
If you go the Mojo page, under updates, you will see it.
The new version that is in the suite is not compatible
with Vegas.

I think it is only available in the Professional version of Vegas.

Render it out as NTSC-DV and see if all renders well.
If it does, you simply drop the new render back on the
timeline and render out to whatever format you want.
Always difficult to know what really gives those errors
and failures.

Just magic bullet Looks 2 is available for Vegas 10 and
Vegas 11 and also Mojo….nothing else in the suite works for Vegas.

From you do all of that and its still there, then i can
guarantee you its there probably on the Video Bus Track.
Click on the Video output FX icon above your preview window
and see if its there.

You wont see it in the final product after rendering.
I use the Dynamic ram preview as i edit along whenever
i have a stuttering timeline. That extra process of converting
media first, then edit, i have always hated.
It wastes so much time.
