The Vegas 14 download is not completed, that is why you have installation issues.
I can’t say what, but something is interfering with your Vegas download.
Use another computer to download it, then drop it on your desktop and install it from their.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

Many room for improvements are still needed. I am still pleased with the direction Magix is taking Vegas, but
now that Vegas 14 is released, its very much clear that their are many, many more work needs to be done,
And i am confident they are gonna get it right, when they cross this early Vegas acquired stage.
Unlike Sony, Magix listens to its user base….. They also need to get on top of their game with communication
and interacting with third party software developers, so Vegas scripts, Extensions and plugins developers can

Tell me, if you restart Vegas, load the project and immediately render it out or render out a small part, does that rendered video comes out looking ok?

Glad you got that sorted. Had to import the host settings for every previous Vegas versions.
