My feeling is that the boot/system drive should ideally be separate from the drive used for rendering.

your processor power exceeds what acceleration that GPU assist can provide.

Indeed, that is mostly the case Stephen.
The sad thing is that most editors who arent tech
savy is not gonna understand this off the bat and
on their own…lol

Corrupted file….Downloading videos off you tube
to re-edit in vegas by the way, is a very very poor
method of editing task you are doing.

You can hold down the Ctrl+shift keys when starting Vegas
to reset Vegas back to its original user interface. All hidden
windows etc. should be back as their default.

Im not understanding your workflow. Explain further. Because
you are talking about Vegas..(which version?). Then suddenly
its DVD Architect giving you a different output result.

You sure you dont have that Video Event FX window hidden
somewhere? When you add other filters, does that window pops
up ok?

I think its because you are rendering out using one of the
DVD Architect Templates, Which wont include any audio…
Try the DVD NTSC Template.

If iam reading your post correctly:
That is the simplest of things to do on the Vegas timeline.
Just delete the audio below the video, then drop the audio you
desire right below it, then render.
