Another Professional software to try would be Sony Sound Forge. It has a trial version also.

You can batch a whole folder of MP3’s at once. And it’s FREE. -

October 30, 2012 at 10:21 pm in reply to: Question about video capture (1394 Firewire)If your getting a new laptop, does it have and express card slot? if so you can get an express card firewire card to give you firewire ability.
Something like this,

To connect the Wireless Mic receiver to your computer you need a USB or Firewire device to act as your sound card. It will be far superior to any laptop’s built in sound card. Some brands to look at are M-audio, Presonus, and Tascam. Prices start at about $100 and go up from there.

or

or try BSWusa.com, Guitarcenter.com, Sweetwater.com, Zzounds.com, SamAsh.com or Amazon.com or a music store near you.Do you have a wireless mic already? If so check the the output from the receiver so it will input to the audio interface easily.
Just about every available interface will work fine with Audition, just run Audition after you have installed the interface and select the interface in the preferences for the audio device.
Is that what you were asking about?Easiest solution would be to get longer mic cables. It will be a lot cheaper and sound better if you have mic’s useful for this endeavor.

I bought these 8 years ago and they have pretty good sound for music, a volume knob on the headset, a stereo/mono switch in the cable and there still for sale. And they block out loud sounds well.

I would watch the film in a good viewing location and note what sounds good and what sounds bad, what needs to be removed or added.
Do the vocals need EQ adjustment to make it sound consistent?
Will music be added now or later in the editing process?
What about Foley effects?
Will this be made into a 5.1 soundtrack?
Premiere can only do simple audio panning and volume control. Audition is a capable editor and should perform most tasks well.
Just a few of the questions you will need to consider when editing the audio.Workflow
Remove sounds not wanted, get volume/panning and EQ consistent, finalize audio using compression and limiting if needed.Remember, sound is more important then the visual. If you can’t understand whats being said, you don’t know what the whole story is.

In Vegas you can render Audio CD’s from the timeline. In the Tools menu select “Layout Audio CD from Events”, then add markers for your cd tracks. “M” key to add markers. Then in the Tools menu select “Burn Disc” and select Disk at once for uninterrupted audio between tracks. Selecting Track at once will add 2 seconds between each track.
Enjoy! -
So you can’t drag an MP3 audio file to the timeline and have it show up?
Are you sure the MP3 audio file is a valid audio file?
Have you tried another MP3 audio file?
Can you transcode the MP3 to another format such as PCM .wav file using another software?
Is the Vegas Pro 11 the trial version? -
If you shot at 120fps, your playback will be 25% speed. At that speed your still using 30fps for playback and should be nice and smooth. Slower then that and your interpolating frames.

In multitrack you enable Monitor Input. It’s the button to the right of the Record button for each track. Use multitrack for this ability. Double click the recorder track to go into edit mode (stereo track mode).
