Yes.We both use Sony Vegas since Sony Vegas Pro 8.
I never had problems before, they started happening since I got Pro 12.
I know how to fix the dark render problem.I add Sony Levels.But still, I can’t exactly see how my video is going to turn out.
And lags/freezes are going on my nerves.

Ohhh man,2014 and they still dont handle those well… no end to these troubles.
I will try to figure out something.
Maybe I should switch to Adobe Premier, who knows…Thanks anyways.

I tried using Computer RGB to sRGB as you said, it worked.
But now preview in Sony Vegas is a little bit brighter then the rendered video and that bothers me.
Because if I was to add some color correction, I wouldn’t be able to have accurate representation of the video, I wouldn’t be able to see how exactly it is going to look when I render it out.

Any way to fix this ?

Haha, yea I have used XVid as well, same thing happens.

Btw, what coded should I use with AVI ? Can you tell me few most popular ones ?

Yea, if I convert the AVI file to MP4, problem does stop, but video file is 1 hour long and 3 GB big.
I guess its my only option.
