    Hello.

    Please, help me, save me.

So I am trying to use Sony Vegas gaussian blur to blur out a persons face, and the way I do it is with two layers.
Both layers have same video, one on top of other one, and then I create a mask around persons face and apply gaussian blur on that layer.
But looks like that blur adds feather to the edge or something which I don’t want.
    Look

The result which I am aiming for is this(notice how blur is strong and has no feather at all) :

That screen shot does not show the gaussian blur effect on the event with this mask. I only see the pan/crop.

Anyway, if you want your mask edges sharp, then position/slide the blur effect before pan/crop in the effect chain. With the blur after the mask, then the sharp mask edges get blurred by the blur effect, since the mask is done before the blur.
