As I said in my previous post it’s not an issue I was just curious as to why.

Thanks Chris, I managed to work that out myself a short time ago.

Tero, I thought I might get that sort of response but as I mentioned I have tried different formats, different export settings, used different source footage all to no avail. In fact that video I used as an example I uploaded 3 weeks ago and it was fine so I guess something has changed either with Youtube or in my system but as I said I have uploaded numerous videos to various file sharing sites, all successful. I guess what I’m seeking is someone else who has had a problem with Youtube.

If you highlight the track and clip and position your CTI where you want the transition then press CTRL and D it will add the default transition.

John and German Polizestov, re-installing BCC 6 is not ideal as it’s a temporary solution but I had to finish a project. Solving the problem with BCC 7 is still to come. A Boris support tech was helpful but didn’t solve the problem. He suggested that the file that correlates BCC and the OpenGL resources is corrupt and sent me a new one but as I stated that didn’t work.
    Good luck

Thanks John, tried that one though. I’ve reinstalled BCC 6 and everything is working.

My system could be the problem then. I’m using AE CS4 Windows 7 32 bit with a Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT card.

Hi John, thanks for responding. I’m using Premiere Pro CS4. I applied it to a clip within a sequence and then when that analyzed the whole sequence in the time line, I then created a new sequence, added the clip and applied it.It then proceeded to analyze the entire time line from the previous sequence.

Sarah, I have the same problem and all the many and varied solutions that I read do not solve the problem. You mention opening temporary files, can you explain as I don’t find those on my pc?
    Many thanks
