BCC7 Extruded Text Problem

No problem here. I’m using AE CS5 with BCC7 7.0.166 and I can drop the BCC Extruded Text into a solid, type in the text, click apply and I get 3D text (as expected).

I’m using Windows 7 64-bit with an old nVidia GeForce 9800GT video card with the 259.96 drivers.

My system could be the problem then. I’m using AE CS4 Windows 7 32 bit with a Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT card.

Make sure that you have the latest drivers for your 8800GT card. That might fix it.

Thanks John, tried that one though. I’ve reinstalled BCC 6 and everything is working.

Hello everyone! I also have Steven Pritchard’s problem, namely, using BCC7 Extruded Text after applying it in AE the composition screen turns to black.
I reinstalled Boris FX, updated my graphic driver, but it still doesn’t work.
Using Windows XP 32, NVidia FeForce GTS250.
Could you please give me the solution

John and German Polizestov, re-installing BCC 6 is not ideal as it’s a temporary solution but I had to finish a project. Solving the problem with BCC 7 is still to come. A Boris support tech was helpful but didn’t solve the problem. He suggested that the file that correlates BCC and the OpenGL resources is corrupt and sent me a new one but as I stated that didn’t work.
