Premiere Pro will export to Flash using the Adobe Media Encoder that comes with the program.

What frame size are you shooting/editing, and what do you want to export?
Generally, if you deinterlace and then reduce the frame size, it is not quite as noticeable.
Please keep in mind that Apple pays a lot of money to compress those videos professionally. If you want great Flash, increase the data rate until it hurts!

I thought that the 8800 had a HDTV output. No?
You may need to add another card to get two monitors plus a HDTV. The Matrox Parhelia APVe can do it with one card but it isn’t as powerful as the 8800 by any means.

Create a title with a white oval to cover the face. Adjust the scale and position of the title to cover the face over time using keyframes.
When it all looks good, add a black background to the title. Behind the oval. Then blur the heck out of the title to create smooth transitions at the edges of the oval.
Put the title with all the keyframes into a new sequence. Nest that sequence as a track matte.
The original footage goes on track one, a copy of the original footage, well pixelated, goes on track two, and the track matte is on track three. Apply the track matte effect to track two’s clip.

Put the clip of the person talking on track one, and then the other image on track two. Use the Motion Effect to change the scale and position of the image using keyframes.

Try using a drop shadow. Avoid using white text – stick to 235,235,235 or less.

It sounds like you are using Premiere 6.x – is that the case?

The better way would have been to use the Project Manager to gather all of your material into a single directory structure.
Even so, you should not be crashing. You may have to delete your preferences.

In CS3 each window has it’s own shortcut.

The subclip delay was fixed in Premiere Pro CS3.
