Yes, the nomenclature change is a bit of a pain (pun intended). The timeline window is now the timeline panel, or even pane! The menu selector is oftalled a “twirly”. Odd word, but I suppose it does “twirl down” a menu.

You can export the track as a WAV and use it to replace the original audio.

The panel menu has two items in it. One to set the timeline to use Audio Units, the other to set the sequence zero point.

Change to the Editing Workspace. Perhaps the current workspace has no timeline.

A preset is a suggestion. The audience section allows you to change the frame size.

Premiere Pro 2.0 only conforms audio that it needs to conform. So in the new project, since there is no need for them, so they don’t get created. It isn’t a mystery. They improved the program. That’s all.

CFA is no longer created for all audio. Only when needed. And audio from a captured video does not need it.
