I have it set on dual mono when i export. Am i doing something wrong? I want both channels working.

We found that out early in the process too. Thanks for all your insight! We finally got it working. Had the engineers pull the cards for 1394 and re-seat it and used a different 1394 cable.

hmmmm. I know that we dont have a setting problem with the capture. We are editing in SD with dv tapes.

Could it be possible it is a setting in the menu? I cant get the OSD to work any more either.

It just boggles the mind that it works only with certain systems. Said part is that deck was a mistake when we purchased it. Was told it records closed captioning. Only problem is it doesnt play captioning. Which has rendered this machine useless for broadcast.

This machine is frustrating the heck out of me!

Something happened the other day that has made me think might know what the problem is. I am gonna try a theory for a couple days.

I forgot the metadata is dependant on the ethernet IP address. I am gonna try something tomorrow and test that theory out.

Georgi wanted to remote connect and see what is causing the problem. We can not recreate it because it never happens on any particular process. Sometimes it is during a rendering and sometime it is logging and capturing. Sometimes it isnt doing anything with the SAN.

That is why I think it might be something on the IP that is cause unknown file error. I will let both you and Georgi what i come up with.
