Page Turn would be the simplest.
But, it is not that hard to create 3D book in AE. There is a tutorial here. You should be able to find it with “3D book” search. The pages will not bend, but the over all effect looks good. If you have a lot of pages, just open the book with the 3D effect, then zoom the camera in to fill the view with just one page, then move to CC Page Turn.

I have not seen the option in AE. It may exist?
Blend IF in Photoshop is a way of splitting the slider when blending. I think you Alt Click on the blend slider to spit it apart. It gives you more control over blending.

Thanks for the response. I made the shape in Photoshop (using the rounded rectangle option) as you described. That is why it seemed so odd that Illustrator could not trace it with only 4 points. I kind of needed the exact proportions of the shape that was already in use in a project.

Trapecode Lux might do it. But, it is a plugin that will cost you.
Is the beam of light already there? Are you just trying to increase the brightness of the beam?

This one looks more sophisticated. I don’t think it would be as easy as the first video listed in this thread. I have not seen this commercial. I like it.

You have to tell AE to preview with sound if you want to hear anything. When you render out, it defaults to no sound. You have to check the box that says audio in the render settings.
I am rendering something right now, so I can’t tell you the exact menu to open to preview the sound. I just know where it is on the interface. The shortcut is the (.) key. It will only show audio. I almost never edit anything with sound in AE.

If you only want to do a simple slide show like you are describing, stay with Premiere. It is much easier to work with sound in Premiere. I will do most simple slide shows in Premiere, and just export small parts to AE for the good stuff.

It looks like they held the credit card in place with some type of clamp, then edited it out. This way the card and the hand holding it never move. They changed the actors in and out in front of a blue screen. It would be fairly easy to replicate the steady consistent head movement. On a couple of scenes they had the actors change clothes and then animated a mask over the body with the exception of the head.
They may have done something more complicated, buy you should be able to replicate the effect as I described.

Yes. That is the only way I have seen it done. There is not “snap-to corner” that I am aware of.
Do you know how to change the view and zoom in? Typically in most cases, it won’t matter if you have both layers slightly “over intersect” if you won’t ever move the camera to under side.
