realistic animated book
What’s a good way to create a realistic looking photo album that turns pages by itself in AE? I don’t have the time or 3D skills to do it in Cinema 4D or whatever.
I know that there are some pretty good page turn effects, and I could make the layers 3D in AE, but how?

cc page turn would be the first effect that comes to mind…
search the cow for page turn and you should find a few tutorials that use the effect.

Page Turn would be the simplest.
But, it is not that hard to create 3D book in AE. There is a tutorial here. You should be able to find it with “3D book” search. The pages will not bend, but the over all effect looks good. If you have a lot of pages, just open the book with the 3D effect, then zoom the camera in to fill the view with just one page, then move to CC Page Turn.
