thanks for your insights Chris…. support got back to me today and told me to “turn off the NCQ setting on the R380. On the R380, the NCQ
setting should be disabled.” which i did… i rebooted the mac to see if hte raid will come back to life… but it got worse !beforehand i was able to at least see my old raid setup in diskutil and atto tool, but now it looks like it went back to a blank raid system stating the rebuilding had been interrupted !!!!!
i have no backup of my files, as i didn’t think that updating drivers and such could mess up this much (and support didn’t tell me neither) F**K !!! i hope i’m not screwed…
i cannot tell exactly which drives are in there as i’m no IT specialist, just a regular guy trying to figure out to get my stuff to work again.

ok…the support told me to update the drivers and flash the card and send them a new diagnostic file… which i did, and now the RAID system isn’t mounting at all anymore 🙁
i still see it in the ATTO tool and disk utility but i’m unable to mount it…. i also haven’t heard from them in days which isn’t cool….
any ideas on what could be the cause of this !? i suppose the flashing of the card might be the problem, but have no idea on how to fix it.

hi there… yes i’m on raid 5. i contacted sonettech support and they made me do a bunch of tests, send them logfiles etc… and in the end told me to update the drivers and flash the card…. which resulted in not being able to mount the RAID today (i did it today) i wrote them back to get some help, but haven’t heard from them so far…..
The raid still shows up in teh ATTO tool and disk utility so i’m not paniking too much for the moment but would be glad to have it back online soon….
in regard of the drives used i dont remember which ones but i know that one isnt working anymore when i rebuild the raid some months ago i left it out of the system, so for my understanding thsi shouldnt be an issue (or am i wrong here ?) they all do light up bluen / green for the moment.

i’m getting back on this as i’m struggling with another shot and don’t want to open up a new thread.
The thing is: I do have this white corner/track marks placed on the screen that need to be removed. The guys in charge of the shooting were not very clever to use white duct tape as the actor on the right has white hair and alot of white in his clothing. Anyway… both of the actors do get in front of the screen and do move alot (motion blur)
I did try several techniques to get a mask to clear the tracking point out to no success (i did track the shot in mocha for ae with a shape to remove them) this does work to some extent but not when the guys get in front of them (as i colorized the shapes the same coulour as the screen)… i hope this makes sense.
I did try to paint / mask them out by hand but as there is a lot of movement from the actors the mask getts all jittery and not clean (and the shot is 800 frames long, so it’s quite a pain in the a**)….
does anyone have a clever / simple solution on how to get rid of thes trackers …. !?? any help greatly appreciated…

Thanks for everybodys input… i was hoping for a one click solution (as usual) but a combination of all your methods did work out:
Rotoscope a mask around the cigar, feather it, tritone on the image to get the blue of the screen to take the cigar color, added some blur and some noise to match the original noise in the image 😉
