Another way to do this that is easier is to create a playlist and link your play all button to the play list. Then have your individual buttons link to their respective timelines (the end aciton of the timeline should return to the menu) that way, you won’t have to use overrides and you won’t have to have two of each timeline on the dvd. You have to have 1.5 to make a playlist (by the way, otherwise you have to use overrides or have 2 of each timeline on the disc). Good luck

If it is USB2.0 then it is faster than firewire in theory since USB 2.0 is 480mbps and firewire is only 400, but most tests reveal that firewire can still beat out usb 2.0

If all you plan on doing is in a studio setting and you have an uncompressed capture setup, then it would be better to go with the Canon camera, because it has built in SDI out and will output uncompressed from the camera without the need for a analog-digital converter. The reason why the HVX200 is so sweet, is because it is portable and has variable framerates with highquality DVCPRO color.

The camera can offload p2 to any firewire or usb drive, the reason why the Firestore is so much more, is because it lets you capture directly from the camera while recording.

You can record it to a hard drive. Yes, 1 minute is 1 gig.

Or copy the effect in your effects control window and then marquee select the clips on the timeline and click paste.

It is almost assuredly h.264 which would explain why it looks much better than the DVD footage.
