It’s telling you that you need the Complete file structure from the SxS card.

When dealing with tapeless media, programs like ShotPutPro guarantee you will have the complete file structure. Drag and Drop is not completely 100% safe.

If you have it, go to the Root Level that contains your BPAV folder and select that in L & T.

Rent the equipment needed for this project. As much as I love Panasonic equipment, The Sony F3 could be a perfect match for this project. Look at the Canon C300. Another option is to use your 5D and record direct to a KiPro or KiPro Mini.

Make your life easier and shoot 720p25. This is a perfect setting for YouTube.

Just so you know, The Qio will only work on a MacBook Pro with an Express34 slot or Mac Pro.

The average offload speed for P2 on the Qio is 25MB/s

The Sonnet Qio is multi format card reader. It connects via express 34 or PCIe only.

P2 only options:
Least expensive option is your P2 Camera.
Next option is the PCD2 single USB P2 card reader.

If you are looking for speed, there are more expensive options
PCD20 FW800 or PCD35 Epress34/PCIe

Motion includes many options to create this and it’s free.

There are other paid plug-ins that will do the work for you.
Digital Juice, not a plug-in has a variety to choose from.

This is fairly simple. I would do it in Motion. Create a rectangle for the top and bottom. Type and position your text. Overlay this file onto your interview.

Use the Canon E1 plug-in instead of MPEG Streamclip. This will enable you to use FCP’s Log and Transfer.

I would not recommend what you want to achieve. I would recomend ProRes the whole time. HDV is very processor intense due to its Long GOP codec.
