When you install FCS 2, it will overwrite version FCS 1. Apple does not recommend having more than 1 version of FCP on the same boot system. That is why it is recommended to clone your system HD before you install.

Up until Final Cut Studio, it was possible to have multiple versions of FCP on the same system and work without conflicts. Before upgrading, you would rename your Final Cut Pro Application. I still have version 1, 2, and 3 on my G4 400 and my G4 Dual Gig I have 3.04, 4.5 and 5.04. Both those systems are retired.

The FS-4 will work with your camera. All you need is DV-NTSC. If you are planning to uprade your camera to HDV or the HVX-200, you will need to get a Firestore specific for your camera.

Sounds like you are a PC user. Read the Manual! or you can PAY a guru to walk you through the install or have them install for you.

Install is very simple, double click the install, enter your serial number and when prompted, insert the requested disc.

Apple and Fed Ex have a VERY GOOD relationship.
It will arrive when Apple ships. If it’s next week great. If not, it will be soon.

As always, I have too many projects going on now to jump ahead and install FC Studio 2 right away. It looks like July will be a good month to do the install.
