You said that you can tell it top or bottom. And said that it is a hidden preference. I searched help for hidden preferences, and didn’t find anything. I also checked preferences and didn’t see anything. Is it worded differently? I have been wondering how to do this also.

Gary, I went down to the timeline, and for some reason the yellow flag at the end was not all the way to the end. I dragged it all the way to the right, then got back to the main screen, and did a preview, and this time it played. Don’t know what that has got to do with it, but thanks for you patience. It’s sometimes hard for us, that are not so deeply into these programs as some of you guys are, to understand exactly what we are doing wrong, or not doing right. I believe that the only way to learn, is to work at it, and to ask questions to those who do know. So as for saying that, you guys have my deep appreciation, and admiration for answering our questions, having patience, and understanding.
    Thanks
    Steve

No, when I play it in preview, it isn’t there. But it is viewable in the timeline, when I load it in the timeline.

I don’t have the credits as a seperate clip, it’s a part of the project. It just happens to be the last frame of the project.

When I preview disc it is not there, it ends with the last picture, but if I click on it and bring it up on the timeline it is there. Any idea?

What exactly do you mean by “preview disc behavior in DVD3”? If I double click on that project on the menu, it loads in the timeline, and it plays all the way through, everything plays.

I have the same problem. I even setup the events in Vegas, but when taken to DVDA3 it shoves the firt one forward, and set a marker at the beginning, and calls it Chapter One.

But these are for use only with DVD Studio, right? Cause I noticed that they have an extension of “.sit”, when DVDA3 is a “.thm” extension.

No, I didn’t make any changes. I was wondering which is the best way to render. I am taking about a half a dozen projects, rendering them seperately, then put them together in DVDA3, as differents menus. It is going to be a DVD of a bunch of vacations, each one able (hopefully) to be chosen on the final DVDA3 screen as a menu for that one vacation. That way they can pick and chose what vacation to view. I just wasn’t sure whether most people render as an AVI or MPEG2 on Vegas, BEFORE it is sent to DVDA3.
Also, wasn’t sure wheter one came out clearer than the other.

Don’t know a single thing about bit rate setting. I just usually compose it in Vegas and either author it in DVDA3 or Ulead. I just use the default settings. If there is another way with different settings that would boost the quality, I am wide open for suggestions. DVD’s usually come out pretty good with the default setting.
