thanks walter, sounds like a good plan.

i guess one of my insecurities is if something happens on adobe’s end and it somehow syncs and deletes my files!

i guess i need a backup essentially that could mirror the creative cloud folder!

yeah, ive thought about that many times but those things are so easily knocked about if yu move around from place to place as much as i do.

the great thing about cc is that you essentially end up with two copies of exactly the same files on two computers, so theres your backup covered.. seems like a pretty good idea.. in theory.

yeah, i use markers for the odd not too, but often i need to animate a lot of text, and it would be really handy to be able to extend a window out to view a lot of text that i can access easily.

ive had a look on aescripts but couldnt see anything. seems like it would be an easy script!

  • hi, i was just wondering if you got anywhere with lining up element 3d with cinema 4d camera data?
    im having the same nightmare.
    thanks in advance.
    james.

  • hi, thanks for your response, yes, ive tried that but my problem is, i want the floor to be transparent and only show the reflections, not its actual color, but if i turn the transparency down, the reflection disappears. i just want a clean reflection pass with an alpha, if i use multipass and select reflection, its not a clean matte, it looks pretty useless.

you should try looking up some shortcuts in after effects, there are lots of blogs around that can give you help and advice, you’ll save lots of precious time to enjoy life away from the box!
