[Tim Wilson] “Every year, there’s a song that makes me say, “Okay, time to start building the list”, and this year, it was the latest from GHUM, with a woman from Spain on lead vocals, one from Brazil on bass, and lead guitarist and drummer from London.

Thanks for sharing Tim, love finding new bands and this one are something special!

So Frame IO are also making a big announcement on the 10th? Will we see a new FCPX tomorrow?

  • [Andrew Kimery] “From what I’ve read very data intensive fields like deep learning, self-driving cars, VR, AR, etc., get a lot out of CUDA (and are places Nvidia has intentionally expended over the years) so the new Mac Pro plowing into big-iron PC territory probably won’t happen.”

I make films in the tech sector and Nvidia are very well positioned in the burgeoning AI space at the moment.

Thanks Mark and everyone, I just gave up in the end and used Toast Titanium Pro, it seems to have done the job, interestingly it still displayed that same metadata at first on the menu but you do have the option to remove it!

Nope, doesn’t work. It still displays the FCPX project name and duration, utterly useless and infuriating, why would anyone think this was required in a “professional” piece of software?

I never made it work in Encore but I might have been doing something wrong!
