Not sure that works, as I understand it the U1 doesn’t work correctly with SL no matter what version of software you have

Going back to your original post which was about picture quality, I would have to say there IS a perceivable difference in quality and the EX1R is considerably better than the 150.

However NAB is in just a few weeks and buying anything before NAB is never a good idea!

If it would move the product on I would be prepared to pay more for it. If we don’t get any good news at NAB this year I think I’ll be looking for my next edit software just in case

The rumour is that the cameras will be 1/3 inch chips which means not usable for almost all broadcast purposes.

Not sure about the rest of your problems, but we are running Snow Leopard on 3 systems with no problems.

There is updated XDCam transfer and EX browser software for Snow Leopard that work fine.

I agree, also make sure your detail level is not too high on the camera if your output will be SD
