Simply place your looping background clip over an over down the timeline and place your logo on top stretched out as long as you need it.

[James T'seleie] ” Is this just a result of working with AVCHD?”
Quite possibly. When we were on 5.5 we had to automatically transcode to Cineform just to achieve any level of smooth playback, and our machine was somewhat stronger than your’s.(4 disc media RAID, 24GB RAM and a Quadro 4000).
FWIW, CS6 improved on AVCHD compatibility, and in CC we’re currently having no playback issues at all, as long as no effects are applied.

Strangely enough, that’s it. The title is 720P, but the sequence is 1080P. Have no idea why the Title Tool would create a 720P title graphic when the sequence is 1080P.

Place the playhead at the head of the clip in the timeline.
Press ‘F” to Match Frame. This loads the clip into the Source Monitor at the specific point that you are at in the Timeline.
Set an ‘In’ point
Back in the Timeline, go to the tail of the clip
Press “F” again to move the playhead in the Source Monitor to that point in the source clip
Now drag ‘Audio Only’ down to your audio track where you’ve deleted the audio.
Sounds like a lot, but once you’ve done it a few times you’ll be surprised how fast you’ll get.

July 29, 2013 at 3:54 pm in reply to: Premiere CS6 cant do a dissolve, can Premiere CC do this?Wow.
Paul, no one is doubting that you have a valid issue. Perhaps it’s the way you reacted to the first person who attempted to assist. You started that ball rolling, and it may not stop. We all know that you are upset about the switch to a subscription model, but do you have to take out your frustrations on someone attempting to help you?
I’m not going to test your situation for two reasons – first, I don’t care about what a dissolve looks like as I click forward frame-by-frame. Second, because of your attitude.

Crap…now I’ve got to go back on every program where I’ve had the playhead stop at the 2nd frame of a dissolve and figure out a way to have that dissolve run with the Mercury engine turned off.
I’m sure I’ve done it hundreds of times.

If you’re still considering renting, you might want to think about maybe purchasing a Kessler Pocket Jib Traveler. It will more than likely fit your needs, and purchasing will probably cost less than a jib rental, especially if an operator comes with it.
Most professional jib operators that we’ve hired use equipment like the larger Cam Mates, and have a hard time configuring them for DSLR’s.
