You sound like my wife/boss. We have a huge pro BetaSP deck that she wouldn’t let me unload for years. Now it’s a boat anchor. The shipping would far exceed any $$$ I could make from it.

How long do you need the frame to hold? Export the final frame to a PNG, then drag that to the end of your timeline, stretching it out for as long as you need it to hold.

Not sure what you mean by “not supported”. I have Creative Cloud 2015, and used Encore just this week to author a batch of DVD’s.
True, you no longer can use Dynamic Linking to export a timeline in Premiere directly to Encore, but I stopped doing that long before the functionality was gone. I simply liked using Adobe Media Encoder better for encoding my timelines, then import them into Encore. The current AME is much faster than Encore ever was at encoding.

Interesting. I’ve just discovered the same problem. I’ve got Ultra-keyed footage against a still background photo, with a Lumetri effect on the foreground. On export to H.264 and Avid MXF, it looks as if the Lumetri grade is being ignored. I also tried Matrox AVI, and that works much better. The difference in the exported image and that of it in the Program monitor is stark.

In the menu go to the ‘Display Setup’ section. Select ‘Video Out OSD’, and set to ‘Off’.

‘Heads and Tails’ are the areas of video beyond where a clip is cut. For example, if you have a 5 second clip, and you shorten the tail, or end of the clip 1 second, making the clip length 4 secs, you have a 1 second ‘tail’.
