Use the circle shape tool to create a circle. Set to outline. Add logo. Add “Motion Path” behavior to logo. Change “Path Shape” in motion path behavior to Geometry. Drag the circle shape to the Shape Source well. Hide the Circle and you have a logo that follows around the circle. Add the other logos to the same motion path just like you did with the first and adjust the Offset to get the different logos at different points in the circle path. Best of luck.

Take a look at Livetoon. I have not used it but you can try it out first to see if you like it before you buy it. It will work in Motion 5. It is the program on the bottom: https://www.dvshade.com/

There is a free plug-in for Motion 4. I’ll try to find it but I’m not sure if it will work in 5.

The newest version of Photoshop will now let you bring in videos so you can add Photoshop filters to them and then export them out. If you have After Effects it comes with a Cartoon filter that works great. I used it in parts of this book trailer.
A free plug-in for Motion that I have never used is Fordee TV Cartoon Effect for FCPX. Look for it on the bottom of the page that I linked.

The only way I can think of won’t be the easiest. I would use the Beizer tool to create line that is the path that the ball goes. Then add a Write on behavior which will help you animate the line so it looks like it draws on. Hope this helps and best of luck.

If you can separate the illustration into pieces you can animate them. For example, it you could separate the hand from the arm and make the arm two parts you can link them together and animate the whole arm or the individual pieces. It is really powerful what AE can do. Take a look at this book trailer where I animated drawings. You’ll need to learn about the Anchor point, linking and the position and rotation. Sounds like I’m in the same boat as everyone else here. We charge the same amount per hour, it doesn’t matter if it is SD or HD.
