One posable future suggestion would be to assemble the video in Final Cut Pro like you did, and then have the client watch it and make changes until it is approved. Then add the graphics. Because it has been approved by the client, the amount of changes should be very small.

I feel Non-stop is a better value. However, I think you will find that Non-Stop, Killer Tracks, MegaTrax and Video Helper are all similar in pricing. If you want high-end music that is used in movie trailers like Transformers and Narnia (Non-Stop) it comes with a price. The company I work for does a lot of corporate videos. A lot of our projects don’t need that high end music/can’t afford that music. We use Stack Traxxs and Narrator Tracks. When a project requires big time music we will purchase the use of just the song we need. The client understands that they need to pay more for that to happen. This helps the client decided on how important that music is. I’m sure some others will disagree with this approach. That has worked for us.

[Corey] it has been a real challenge because of its size bogging Motion down to a crawl (tough I’ve done this size thing in AE and been able to get through with much less pain).
Because of Motion’s real-time design environment you can start animating and make changes instantly, with out having to do any Ram previews. The draw back is that you machine can only handle so much. Keep the projects small and this won’t be a problem. If you need to you can always do a RAM preview. Hope this helps.

[Ben] What about production music libraries like KillerTracks, MegaTrax, Video Helper?
When I want really high end sounding music I first turn to Non-Stop music. They are great. Ask for Mike Hicks and he will do a great job for you on pricing and locating music. Tell him that Stephen Smith recommend them.

Hit the command and 8 keys to open up the keyframe editor. Select your key frames and right click on one. Go to interpolation in the pop-up menu. Choose Linear instead of Bezier. That will make the movement a constant speed instead of easing it in and out.
