Sorry for the response you didn’t want. Remember to treat Motion like a program to create motion graphics and to treat Final Cut Pro as a program to edit clips together. Best of luck and I hope your project turns out perfect.

There are two ways to do it that I can think of. I’ll give you the one that may be easier.
Apply the Match Move behavior. Make the length of the Behavior so it ends where you want the tracking to end so the image stays put. Do everything like you would normally do. Watch it to make sure you like it and as you said it will jump back to it’s original place once the Behavior is no longer present. Here is the trick. Then you drag the Match Move Behavior back out. You will see a keyframe symbol on the behavior and that it ends where the behavior used to end. That will hold it in it’s last position so it doesn’t move. I hope I explained this well enough.

I would recommend exporting out or saving a Motion File of the CU and another of the Long shot. Show you have two different project files/movies. Bring them into Final Cut and add a dissolve. Hope this helps.

I’ve heard the “make this look like film” phrase a lot. However, I’ve never heard someone say…”Can you make this film look like video?” That should tell us a lot.

I use Motion because I can utilize Motion’s Lights. In the photo in this post I added a light in three places to give it a more convincing look. Use the Levels filter to make it darker. The Saturate filter to take some of the color out. The tint filter to make it more of an overall color you want. Hope this helps.

Select your text and apply the Match Move behavior. A circle will appear on the screen. Drag it to where you want to track. Hit the Analyze button in the Behaviors tab and you should be good to go. Hope this helps.

I would use the Rectangle Shape tool to create a shape that covers the newspaper article. Make the color black. Drop the opacity of the shape. Use the rectangle mask tool to cut a hole in the shape. Ad a Fade In Fade Out behavior to the shape and you are good to go. Best of luck.

After Effects has it’s own Particle Emitter. You can use all of the “Content” in Motion that are images or Movies. Everything else like the Lines need to be used in Motion because they are built with a tool in Motion. You can always export out those objects like the Arrow but that would be a lot of work.
