I thoroughly cover this in my Motion Training DVD called Moving with Motion, I think it will be of great help. Of course I’m biased.

Also, take a look at the pre-built floral content that comes with Motion, Go to the Library tab, Content, Drawings. Lots of great stuff.

Oh, sorry, I’m on Motion 4. I thought there was a behavior like it in Motion 3 but here is another way to do it: For a good example go to the Library tab, Content. Gadgets, Vacuum Tube. Notice how it’s glow comes in and out. That is because it has a Randomize Behavior set to the Bloom amount. It is set in the Randomize behavior in the Apply To section. You can set it to Opacity if you want.
Or another way and possible easier to do it is make the image fade with keyframes and then set the keyframes to continue forever. It is better described in my Creating a Hologram tutorial.

Yes, this is easy to do in Motion and can be done many different ways. I think a very easy way to do it is add your text, select it and the go to the Library Tab. click on Behaviors, Text Sequence, Text-Continuous, Intermittent. Click on the Apply button or drag the behavior onto the text. Take a look at all of the Text Behaviors to get an idea of what Motion can do very quickly with text. You can shorten the length of the project in Motion or in Final Cut Pro so you don’t have to render the whole project.
When you Export you should: File, Export. Click on Options…, Click on the Output tab, uncheck the Use Current project and Canvas Settings checkbox. Change Render Quality to Best. OR just simply change the Render Quality to best.

When you Export make sure you set it to Best.
Or you can bring the Motion Project File into FCP and render it there. If you do do that make sure you go to Sequence, Settings, Render Control tab and then set Quality to Best.

Double click on the clip in the timeline. In the Viewer under the Motion tab you will see a Rotation option. You can rotate it any degree you want.

Make sure you don’t have any content in the search feature.
Try going to the Preferences and reset the “Content Library & Templates” Library Path in the General section. Best of luck.

I would try a Directional Blur. That way you have full control over everything. Hope this helps.
