That effect is so quick in your sample it is hard to see what it is. Take a look at this TV show open:

There is a lot going on in this video. Is there something in specific you would like to know? They use an effect where the animation draws on to the screen a lot. You can achieve this by using the Write-On filter under Generate.

Yes, I like to just render the Motion Project File in FCP, so that way if I make changes it just updates automatically. I export out a Movie file if the project is really big and will take forever to render. I set the FCP sequence settings to render Motion files at Best. Hope this helps and best of luck.Stephen Smith

I would go to the Video section of the COW ( https://reels.creativecow.net/ ) and take a look at the videos. Re-watch what you like and try to break it down and figure out what you like. When I took art classes as a youth we studied the greats all the time for inspiration. You may want to check out Vimeo as well. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Make sure your Photoshop file is RGB, Not CMYK. Also make it 8 bit. Let me know if that works.

When I bring a clip into FCP I let FCP change my timeline to the clips settings. Then I round trip the clip into Motion. So it is set to the best settings. If I’m working in Motion directly with SD then I use the Broadcast setting. Sorry, I’m not on a computer with Motion so I can’t look up the exact setting but I recall it is called Broadcast 720 x 486 or something.

This is where Motion really shines. This is super easy.
Create a Bezier line. Go to the Shape, Style tab. Click on the Outline check box. Increase the Width to taste. Set the Start or End Cap to Arrow. You can adjust the arrow head by adjusting the Arrow Length or Arrow Width. Add a Write on Behavior and your arrow grows. Hope this helps and best of luck.
