Since this camera shoots 4:2:2, you should get pretty good chromakey results. But we have no clue to your workflow: How you get from camera to finished product.

They range from $29 to infinity. Quite a spread. I built one from an old satellite dish by removing the LNA and gaff taping a shotgun element in place of the LNA. it was bit bulky, but it works.

And they would be wrong. Shotgun microphones don’t increase the range of your pickup, they only suppress the sensitivity from the sides. If you want a very sensitive microphone, look for a parabolic as Graham said.

It’s hidden for very good reason – you can truly hose Vegas here. The tab is called “Internal” because they are supposed to be internal to Sony engineers and support. Sometimes a Sony support engineer may direct a user to make an internal change.

I am only guessing – but I suspect that this is the setpoint where Vegas will refuse to run if there is not at least the minimum RAM set here. You can’t “force” a program to use more RAM than it needs.

Kayley – Here’s something else you can try:
Holding Ctrl + Shift while starting Vegas will reset all preferences and delete cached data prior to loading the program. If you have recently installed new hardware (especially a new graphics card), this is necessary because Vegas may be loading settings for your old hardware.

Roger – YouTube is experimenting with a PPV program, but for now it’s limited to well-known producers. Google built a studio near Hollywood, but they haven’t had much luck in attracting producers.

You can kill them in the Resource Manager when you are looking at the wait chain. What may have happened is that Vegas crashed and Windows never figured it out, so it keeps the program “open”. Then you open another instance.

Do you have any nested projects?
